Psyllium fibers
Psyllium fibers expand and ensure that the sand is excreted with the manure.
Proportion of psyllium fibers in the product = 95%. This is a very high proportion compared to other similar products.
Psyllium is perfect for optimal sand removal and to support intestinal function.
You can find out if your horse has eaten sand with a simple test. Collect some manure in a transparent plastic glove and mix it with water. Since sand is heavier than the other manure particles, it will sink to the bottom after a while. If you find more than 1 teaspoon of sand in the glove, attention is required.
Feeding advice
Horse ≥ 450 kg: 200 grams per day for 6 days.
Horse < 450 kg and pony/foal: 100 grams per day for 6 days.
1 bucket of 1200 g is sufficient for an adult horse.
Repeat monthly if desired.
Always administer over dry feed.
Tip
If the horse continues to eat sand, give the horse Licosan-Forte (LICO0005) to break the need for sand.
